BOYS’ TRAVEL PROGRAM
The Boys’ Travel Program is designed for athletes who have some volleyball experience or for those breaking into the sport. Boys Travel Team players are seeking a team competition experience, development of volleyball skills and an understanding of a higher level of the indoor game. Boys trying out for a travel team are serious about improving their volleyball toolbox and strive to compete at an increasingly competitive level. Boys’ volleyball is a fast growing sector of volleyball in the USA and in North Carolina. NC Coastal seeks to provide the same high level of training to junior boys in the Cape Fear Region as we provide in our Junior Girls’ Program.
Boys’ teams play in multiday tournaments. The season runs from December (practices begin) through mid-April depending on tournament availability
BOYS’ TRAVEL PROGRAM:
- 2 Team Practices/Week (1 weeknight/1weekend)
- 5-6 Multi-day Tournaments
- Sports Recruits Profile
- Strength/Flexibility training, mindset and team building training
- Uniform gear package
BOYS’ TRAVEL TEAM FEE: $1200
Not included in team fees: Transportation to events, player food costs, hotel stay and the AAU & Carolina Region USAV Player Membership Fees
