PREMIER TEAM PROGRAM
NC Coastal will field two advanced level teams in our new Premier Team Program this season. The Premier Team Program is designed for the athlete who is one of the top players in skill and athletic potential for her playing position. The Premier Team player seeks to experience an advanced level of training, competition, and an extensive tournament schedule. Our Premier Team training program was designed by former NC Coastal Director of Volleyball Instruction and USA Volleyball Olympic coach, Joe Trinsey. His vision for the Premier teams is to bring together players with the highest level of skill and athletic ability in each position and train them to compete together against Open level competition in the U17 and U14 age divisions. NC Coastal Premier teams will play in tournaments against the most competitive clubs in the east region and beyond to ensure they are competing against teams that will match their skill level and challenge them at every tournament. The Premier team player is at the top of her High School or Middle School team and her club age division team. NC Coastal’s staff has extensive experience and a comprehensive network to help student athletes navigate the recruiting process. We provide Sports Recruits profile services for each athlete, recruiting workshops and guidance to all players on a Premier team to help achieve their goals to play on the next level.
WHO MAY TRYOUT FOR A PREMIER TEAM?
17 PREMIER – any player eligible to play U15, U16 or U17 may tryout
14 PREMIER – any player eligible to play U11, U12, U13 or U14 may tryout
If you wish to tryout for one of our Premier teams, register at the TRYOUTS link in the above menu for Your Age Division and check the box that you also wish to tryout for the U17 Premier Team or the U14 Premier Team.
PREMIER TEAM PROGRAM DETAILS (included in team fee):
- 3 Team Practices/Week (2 weeknight/1weekend) – through the entire season
- 10 Multi-day Tournaments including a USAV National Qualifier and the AAU National Championship
- Sports Recruits Profile and monthly recruiting workshops
- Gold Medal Squared early season weekend skills clinic
- Strength/Flexibility training and classroom video, mindset and team building training
- Uniform gear package
