POWER TEAM PROGRAM
The Power Team Program is designed for the athlete who is at the top of her age group in skill and commitment, wishes to experience a higher level of competition, and an extensive competition schedule. NC Coastal Power teams will play in tournaments that feature some of the most competitive clubs in the North/South Carolina regions and beyond to ensure that our Power teams are playing against competition that will match their skill level and challenge them at every tournament. Power team players have athleticism and skill to match up against strong competition. The player who qualifies for a Power team must be willing to work hard with a growth mindset to further her progress, her team’s progress, and her club’s success. The Power team player seeks to be skilled enough for a rigorous high school experience and may be training for the possibility of a college opportunity in the future. NC Coastal’s staff, which includes former USA Volleyball National Team Coach Joe Trinsey as our training advisor, has extensive experience and a comprehensive network to help student athletes navigate the recruiting process. We provide Sports Recruits profile services for each athlete, monthly recruiting workshops and guidance to all players on a Power team who wish to play on the next level.
